The Cummins Theatre Merredin is the central hub for the arts in the Central Eastern Wheatbelt. We are proud to play host to a number of weekly classes that operate out of our spaces allowing our community the opportunity to learn, create, and participate in the arts. All classes are run by professional teachers who are experienced in their field and are committed to educating their students in a fun and educational environment.

Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and Acrobatics are all on offer thanks to teachers from of Rural Dance Schools WA.
Taking place each Wednesday afternoon these classes offer structured dance training culminating in an end of year recital concert. Students aged 4 years and up are welcomed into classes which instill the love of dance in your children, providing a happy and safe environment to express themselves and explore their own personalities and emotions.
Perth based musical theatre school “Bel Canto Performing Arts” now run classes in Merredin at the Cummins Theatre. Classes in Merredin will consist of Singing, Acting with an introduction to Dance with a view to all students participating in an end of year concert performance and inclusion in a production of “Elf Jr the Musical” with BCPA students from Perth.
Perth based musical theatre school “Bel Canto Performing Arts” now run classes in Merredin at the Cummins Theatre. These classes are for children aged 3 – 5 years of age and explore music, singing, movement, make-believe and much more. The classes run for 30 minutes, are for boys and girls and may involve some parent participation in the class.
