About the Show:

A concert not to be missed, Roman Rudnytsky is bringing some romance to the Cummins Theatre for our next Lunchtime Escapes concert on August 23rd. Featuring the music of Mozart, Haydn, Chopin, Liszt and Beethoven, this is one afternoon not to be missed.

Lunchtime escapes concert started in 2016 as a way of bringing high quality performances into a daytime setting allowing audiences to “escape” their daily lives for an hour and appreciate the arts.

“The shows have featured across genres from musical theatre, cabaret, classical music, opera, and even a comedy organ performance! They are short performances that are delightful and give people to chance to experience something new.” Emma Davis, Cummins Theatre Manager.

Each concert kicks off at 11am where guests can enjoy a delightful morning tea of cakes, slices, sandwiches, and a selection of tea and coffee, before settling in for the concert which begins at 12pm.

Past concerts have been very popular with guests exclaiming “It was a beautiful afternoon and one not to be missed! I can’t wait for the next performance.”

The next performance features American concert pianist Roman Rudnytsky, whose performances take him all over the world. A graduate of the famous Juilliard School in New York, he has played in about 100 countries.

This lunchtime escapes concert is free, although guests are invited to make a donation to the upkeep of the theatre. For more details and to book visit www.cumminstheatre.com.au
