About the Event:
Everyone has a story to tell and we want to hear all of them!

The Cummins Theatre will be hosting a free longtable lunch for the Merredin community on Thursday May 31st. Throughout the luncheon participants will be invited to share their own tales about the theatre’s long past and listen to stories from others in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Throughout the luncheon participants will be treated to short exerpts from the over 100 year history of this building including historical events, exerpts from past shows, secret stories, and many more. Then particiapnts will be invited to share their own stories with friends old and new. The stories will be collected, catalogued, and transformed into storytelling exerpts to be shared with the greater community at the Cummins Theatre’s storytelling festival in October.

This is a once in a theatre’s history to have your stories heard and added to our oral history collection. Don’t miss out!

Come along – share a meal – share a story
